Breathing Training For Huddersfield Runners
Welcome to day 3. Today you will learn how to engage your abdominals correctly without having to do crunches or think about tightening them.
- Keep your teeth slightly apart.
- Lip together.
- Place your tongue on the roof of your mouth just behind your teeth.
- Gently press into the pallet.
- Inhale through your nose SLOWLY for roughly 2 FULL seconds.
- Exhale through your nose until you empty your lungs.
- Pause for 2 seconds and then re inhale through your nose.
- Maintain this position throughout the day.
