Rachel Barrowclough (Sports Massage Therapist)
Originally from Ossett, West Yorkshire, Rachel graduated in 2014 with a first class honours degree in Sports Rehabilitation from the University of Bolton. Throughout this course Rachel was provided with a range of opportunities working with numerous sports teams, including providing sports massage to the Fijian Rugby team who competed in the 2013 Rugby World Cup.
Rachel has spent the last two seasons working daily with the Huddersfield Giants Rugby League team and was an ever present Soft Tissue Massage Therapist for the players during the 2013 League Leaders winning season with the highlight being pitch side with the team to receive the Shield in September 2013 at the John Smith’s Stadium.
Alongside working with the Huddersfield Giants and having a reputation for having the deepest soft tissue massage in the club, Rachel also studied and successfully completed the intense Pro Sport Physiotherapy Certification. It was here Rachel was able to further develop here soft tissue assessment and treatment skills under the supervision of the Dave O’Sullivan.
Rachel provides deep tissue sports massage at the Extreme Conditioning Clinic.
